We offer community funding through our Small Grants scheme.  Funding previously available through the Rural Youth Transport scheme can now be applied for through our small grants scheme.

Our help and advice on project funding

We can help you with the following:
• finding funders for your project
• support with defining your project
• demonstrating community support
• completing application forms
• reviewing your funding application and suggesting improvements
• working with you on governance for your group (constitutions, trustee roles, records, meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
• getting community support for your project

Governance advice

We can help you with the following:
• constitutions
• strengthening committees
• consulting the community for endorsement for project
• trustee roles
• keeping records
• developing business plans
• how to organise meetings
• Annual General Meetings (AGMs)  

Funding from Aberdeenshire Council
Funding may be available from the Formartine Area Committee (Aberdeenshire Council) Aberdeenshire Charities Trust and the Common Good Fund. For more information about what’s available, eligibility and how to make and application see the Aberdeenshire Council website is a good starting place.
